95. What is our proper response to God's warnings and promises?
A. We should reject all other gods.
1 Samuel 7:3 If you are returning to the LORD with all your heart, then put away the foreign gods and the Ashtaroth from among you and direct your heart to the LORD and serve Him only.
B. We should turn to God in repentance, trusting in His mercy for the sake of Jesus Christ, our Lord.
Isaiah 55:6-7 Seek the LORD while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, that He may have compassion on him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.
C. We should eagerly seek to know God's will and "gladly do what He commands."
Psalm 119:2 Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, who seek Him with their whole heart.
Romans 7:22 For I delight in the law of God, in my inner being.
