285. How does the Seventh Petition relate to the previous petitions?
It serves as a summary of the previous six petitions in which we ask our Father in Heaven to rescue us from all evil (including the evil one, Satan).
Psalm 121:7-8 The LORD will keep you from all evil; He will keep your life. The LORD will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.
2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.
