230. Why does the Lord's Prayer come after the Creed in the catechism?
The Ten Commandments reveal how God created us to live with Him and others. The Creed shows us all that God has done, that we might be His children and live according to His will. In the Lord's Prayer, we now pray for God's will to be done and for His gifts to be received in the face of all dangers.
