178. What does it mean to confess that I live under HIm in His kingdom?

A. As our Lord, Jesus graciously rules to defend me, protect me, and guide me.

Matthew 11:28 Come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

Colossians 1:13-14 He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

Read Psalm 23, which is about the Lord who rules as a kind shepherd.

B. As our Lord, Jesus sends the Holy Spirit to be with me, to teach me, and to sanctify me.

John 14:16-17 And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him. You know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.

John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.

John 16:13 When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth, for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatedver He hears He will speak, and He will declare to you the things that are to come.
