110. What does the word Trinity mean?

It means three in one. The Church has used the word Trinity to maintain the Bible's witness about the Father, Son, and Spirit are three distinct persons and yet are one God. This is the greatest mystery of the Christian faith.

Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

2 Corinthians 13:14 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
